Trail Etiquette
To make your hiking experience at Seven Falls both safe and enjoyable, we ask that you please observe the following:

  • For your safety please do not drink water from the stream.  The water contains giardia, a parasite that causes painful cramps and diarrhea.
  • To protect the natural environment, please stay on the marked trails
  • Please leave wild flowers as you find them for others to enjoy.  Also, it is a violation of the Colorado law to pick wild flowers.
  • To protect our forests, please do not smoke while on the hiking trails.

  • For the safety and health of both you and wildlife, please do not attempt to feed wildlife.  If you come across baby animals, please do not touch them.  Their mothers are most likely very close by, and probably watching.  If you have a concern that an animal my be injured, or any other wildlife concerns, please contact a Seven Falls employee as soon as possible.
  • As you are in an area where wild creatures are common we ask that you keep pets on a leash at all times.
  • Please assist us in keeping the area clean by using the trash receptacles provided.
